"Don't you think daisies are the friendliest flower" - You've Got Mail

Just needed a little sunshine today. It has been so nice and now it's rainy and gloomy. :(

Spring needs to HURRY!

For you!

Holding on to everything that I have, holding on to youth, holding on to memories, holding on to friendships...
I found this little feather yesterday desperately holding on to this twig, holding so tightly...what a beautiful thing, to hold on dearly to the things and people that we love.

Photography has allowed me to express every feeling, good or bad. If it's a bad feeling I usually feel so much better after having tried to portray it through a photo... if it's good, well then I want to shout it from the roof tops!

This is to my photographer friends, you all know who you are. You have encouraged me, tutored me, helped me, and supported me. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, I would not be the photographer that I am today if it weren't for you!
And HBW fellow photogs!

"I'm the kind of girl who can resist anything but temptation." - Melanie Griffith

Well, who could resist a glass of wine and some bokeh?

Hope everyone is having a grand Thursday.

Xmas waves a magic wand over this world and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful. - Norman Vincent Peale

8 days until Christmas and I am NOT in the Christmas spirit. I think it's because in the span of a year my holiday traditions have shifted. My maternal grandma passed away last year, two days after Thanksgiving, we used to go to her house on Christmas day. In June my paternal grandmother had a stroke and now we are living in her house, we used to come out here for Xmas Eve... it's all going to be a bit strange this year.
Anyway, enjoy the "bokeh" :)
Oh, and I'm STILL iced in, I pray for human contact today. No my kids aren't human, not when you are have cooped up with them for three days. :P
