Saturday's session

I think I'm caught up, for the most part. The good thing about the rain, it gave me some needed time to catch up in editing, filling orders, revising xmas cards, etc. The bad thing, I will be behind again after three sessions on Friday and three on Sunday due to rescheduling. GRRR

But, that is ok.
Here are a few favs of mine from this past Saturday. This little guy was on the move. Full of energy and wonder. My favorite is the first one, I love how the sun was shining just right.
Hope everyone is having a super week so far.

My Monday session

From my session last night. I photographed this little beauty back in May and had the opportunity to photograph her again. Such a little doll.
It is so awesome when my clients have the same vision as me, meaning the chair in this and the awesome zebra print jacket, which I think may have been accident, I don't know, but I love it. lol though most of my clients do have the same vision or want the same photos that I do, or they wouldn't come to me for this type of quirky style, the unposed, the unplanned shots.
Thanks to the Wilsons for allowing me to photograph your little beauty again!

If I were a superhero

Every year the girls have been asked to keep a journal in school. At the end of the year they bring them home. It is always fun to see what they've been writing about.
This is taken from Gabby's journal

"If I were a superhero I would be cristal girl. With the powers to shine like the sun, run fast and jump high. I would have a cristal diamond necklace. I would never leave home without it. I would save the world."

I miss summer

It's nice here today and it's giving me "spring fever" already. I usually don't despise winter, I'm a cold climate person, or at least I thought so. I hate that it gets dark at 4:30, I hate that it's so cold that you can't hardly go out (it was earlier in the week) I can deal with the cold if we had snow. But, only for about a month then it can GO. We lived in New Hampshire for a year and that was the most horrible winter EVER. It snowed every day, there was not one day that it didn't. I remember we came home for Easter (April) and when we got back to NH it was just getting ready to thaw. UGH I am not a 6 months of winter person.
Here's an archived shot, this is from Jack's bday party.
Have a great day.

It's finished

YAY!!! We are finished with the Nutcracker. It was BEAUTIFUL, the girls did a wonderful job. I have to say that they were born to do this, they have a wonderful stage presence and no fear at all. They get up there and dance like they are in their rooms, NO FEAR.

We are tired and sad I think... sad it's over but glad at the same time.

Waiting for the ice.... oh how I hope we get no ice.

One more post from me for today

I only have one photo edited from last night, but it is a good one.
We just returned from the girls' Xmas program at school. I'm tired and just want to have a glass of wine and relax.

Here's the one that I got that turned out well, I haven't gone through the others yet. More to come I'm sure. ;)

Jones Family

I'm late on posting some favorites from this session, things have been crazy.
